Annabel Pattullo (Scotland)

Annabel Pattullo was born in Glasgow, Scotland. She studied Printed Textiles and Surface Decoration at Grays School of Art in Aberdeen and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (1st Class Honours).

She has over thirteen years experience working with communities as a facilitator of arts projects. While she was employed by the City of Aberdeen she was commissioned to create two twelve feet tall textile wall hangings celebrating the bicentenary of the main street. During this project Annabel discovered the subtleties and tactile qualities unique to fabric and thread. She has never looked back integrating many of the techniques such as appliqué, stitch´n´slash and embroidery into her own creations.

In 2001 Annabel moved to Germany, where she lives with her husband.

She gives seminars, co-ordinates a range of private workshops and has been developing Community Textile Projects in Freiburg.

In September 2004 she is exhibiting at the 10th Patchwork Meeting in Alsace, France.

Annabel intends to develop a range of interior accessories including cushions, pictures and textile wall pieces.
